 Timespan of patients symptomology:

20 YEARS BACK --  first episode of SOB

15 YEARS BACK -- facial puffiness

12 YEARS BACK --second episode of SOB

yearly episodes from the past 12 years 

8 YEARS BACK -- diagnosed with diabetes 

5 YEARS BACK -- anemia and took Fe injections 

1 MONTH BACK-- Genrealized weakness 

15 DAYS BACK-- Pedal edema 

 ANATOMICAL LOCALIZATION ---   LUNGS-Bronchi and bronchioles - 

Primary etiology of the patients problem may be due to the exposure of dust in paddy fields.

improves oxygenation 

.decreases incidence VAP

.increases hemodynamic performance 

.increases end expiratory lung volume

.decreases incidence of aspiration 

#Indication: .head injury

.meningitis 

.pneumonia 

~ oxygen inhalation to maintain spo2

~Bipap:non invasive method

#MOA :assist ventilation  by delivering positive expiratory and inspiratory pressure with out need for ET incubation9

3. Cause for current acute excerbation - it could be due any infection


4.could the ATT affected her symptoms if so how?


Yes ATT affected her symptoms

Isoniazid and rifampcin -nephrotoxic - raised RFT was seen. 
 
SUMMARY: A 55 years old female patient is with the symptoms of shortness of breath,pedal edema and facial puffiness.
Isoniazid and rifampcin- nephrotoxic raised RFT was seen
